Spanish Para Badminton International 2023
Lukáš Kyncl and Kamil Šnajdar (WH1) played the first qualifying tournament for Paris 2024. Kamil Šnajdar did not lose his way at the first tournament on the world circuit played in Spain. He played 8 matches in 3 disciplines. He managed to win one of them with his Polish teammate Natalia Grzyb. In the next one they were evenly matched opponents and the final result of 21:23 and 14:21 is a promise for advancing out of the group at the next event. In doubles, she and Lukas Kyncl played their best result against a pair from India. Thanks to Natalia for playing together. Lukas Kyncl was competing in Spain in his 5th world event. In the singles he managed to advance over his opponents from Croatia and Venezuela, but in the knockout matches he fell short to the great player Osamu Nagashima from Japan. Congratulations for the nice Czech result. In doubles he and his teammates did not manage to win. He and Anna Wolny resisted, but it was not enough against stronger opponents. Thanks to the players for their representation and to coach Mikuláš Müller, who is regularly involved in coaching the parabadminton of the Brno group. Thanks to the Badminton Sharks Brno club for financial and organizational support for this tournament.
